He remembered when she opted to save him, Them- The Teen Titans. That she had turned to stone. She didn’t want to do this anymore. She didn’t want to fight. Slowly his heart had shattered again.

It had taken him weeks, months to get over this new heartbreak. Yet, he was amazed how they were there for him. They cared about him. But her?

Terra.

She was Slade’s apprentice as much as he hated it. She betrayed him. She had always seemed like she had. She was blonde, beautiful, pretty. Everything he wanted in a girl. Just the thought of her made his heart leap.

Every little detail of her, he remembered.

When they first met her she couldn’t control her powers, but in time she had learned to. He promised not to tell anyone about this- but Robin had found out on his own. He was sad that she turned from him- from them.

Then, just before becoming Slade’s apprentice she betrayed them. He didn’t see it at first because he was blind. Love was blind. He loved her. He would always love her.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
A lost soul, he thought.

I’m just a lost soul searching for her. My friends don’t believe me. They never did. They never saw the kind heart I saw in her. They never knew the Terra I knew. He told himself.

He laughed at himself. He was sometimes stubborn, he knew. Oh how he knew that. But seeing the stone Terra gone and her alive awoke old feelings inside him.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
You know him?

He thought what kind of question was that. Of course she knew him. He knew her. He remembered she told him she traveled the world. He remembered…

Sorry you got the wrong girl.

This hurt him. It tore his insides apart. The stern look she gave him hurt him. Since when was she this serious toward him? She was acting like Raven. And she hated Raven!

Maybe, just one slice.

Beast Boy’s face lightened up.

She has to remember me, he thought.

Happily he pulled her away from her two friends and towards the pizza place. He heard the two girls asked her something.

You sure about this guy?

It’s all right. I’ll see you guys tomorrow.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

No, he thought.

He was running after Terra. He had thrown mud in her face. He wasn’t really getting it. She wasn't whom he thought she was- except she couldn’t remember.

Funny how things worked out… Maybe it was amnesia. Maybe she wanted to forget about them, the titans, Slade...

Beast Boy ran.

For all he knew his Terra was hidden inside this Terra.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
He ended up at the carnival. He went inside the House of Mirrors.

“Maybe she doesn’t want to remember?” a sneer voice said.

Beast Boy looked up and saw Slade.

Slade?

What was he doing in the house of mirrors?

“Slade? I should have realized you were behind this? Why did you bring Terra back?” Beast Boy screamed and looked around at the broken mirrors.

“I had nothing to do with her return.” Slade stated.

Stepping forward, Beast Boy shouted, “You did something to take away her memory. You took away her powers!”

Amused, Slade answered calmly.

“I did nothing dear boy. If the girl does not remember or does not use her powers. It’s because she chooses so.”

“Why won’t Terra want to remember? She had friends! She was a hero! She saved all of us!” Beast Boy cried.

Rage built in him ever since he set his focus on Slade in a mirror. Funny how the two had not advance on each other. Funny how he never did heard what Slade said next. For if Beast Boy had it would have made him even angrier than he all ready was.

Don’t you see she no longer wants to remember you?

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Things change Beast Boy. The girl you want me to be is just a memory.

He looked down at his communicator.

“Come in Beast Boy. We need your help.” Robin cried towards the green man.

He looked up at her. He looked at Terra.

“Come with me.” He pleaded.

She shook her head.

You go. You’re a teen titan. That’s who you are not me. I’m not a hero.

He did it. He had finally let her go. Though one day he should thank Slade. As he run off to battle something Slade said kept playing in his mind.

You’re the one who’s hurting her. Let her go.
These were his thoughts on Terra during the 'Things Change' episode. Sad ficcy...[BBTerra]

Somehow, I felt like writting this after seeing most of the Terra episodes back-to-back. I know Beast Boy loves Terra so much, but it hurts just thinking of them like this.

Very sad yet touching. Though I don't think Slade ever said "You’re the one who’s hurting her. Let her go."

And Beast Boy will never be over Terra.
